Pilot's Iroshizuku inks have gained a fan base around the world for their high quality and stunning colours, which were created to represent Japan's beautiful natural scenery and fauna. That quality and colour range was somewhat intimidating to some users however, because of the relatively high price point (Iroshizuku is definitely a premium product as fountain pen inks go) and the wide range of colours to choose from.
That's why we were so excited to find these Iroshizuku mini inks, which are a brilliant (and affordable) way to sample the many beautiful colours of the Iroshizuku range. The beautifully crafted glass Iroshizuku mini bottles are also very convenient for travelling, as they easily slip into a bag.
For those of you who are interested, 'Iroshizuku' is a combination of the words 'iro' (colouring) and 'shizuku' (droplet).
The Iroshizuku mini line includes all the colours of the full size 50ml bottles. If you're looking for a gift idea for a fountain pen lover, we would recommend the Iroshizuku Mini Sets, which come with three different ink colours in a set (there are three sets to choose from).
