Description

Taut is a series of leather covers that fit snugly around your techo for a sleek look, and this time, we have included a Weeks-sized cover in the lineup for the first time.

The leather used is called Seta Double, tanned by the North Italian company Poletto. The European hide was chrome-tanned to give this slightly matte yet clear leather. The name Seta comes from the Italian word for silk, and speaks for the silky smooth touch and natural finish of this leather.

The front of the cover is in a warm gray, while the back is in a cool-toned light blue. A specialized process was used to create this dual-tone on one single piece of leather. The unique sleekness of the leather makes it soft to the touch, and thanks to its finely grained texture, scuff marks will be less visible.

A key feature of this series is that the techo will look sleek and taut when you close the cover. The pen hook on the right side is designed to hold a pen by its clip.

In the cover interior, you will find a slit-type pocket, perfect for storing business and other cards. Included is a small bookmark, made with the same leather as the cover and pressed in gold foil with the Hobonichi logo. You can put this between the pages to always find your place.
