Description

This is a Weeks book created together with art director Yoshie Watanabe, who works on the fashion brand CACUMA and other projects.

On a deep-coloured navy fabric, colourful small flowers with various expressions are expressed through a woven fabric with an elegant feel. It is finished into a Weeks book with a dignified look.

A single red line runs along both the front and back, adding a sharp accent to the design.

The year 2027 on the spine has been subtly foil-pressed in black.

The back cover also features Yoshie Watanabe's signature, rendered in the same black foil.

Because the flowers on this Weeks are created through the weave of the fabric, the position of the flowers may vary slightly. We hope you enjoy discovering which pattern you'll get.

The Hobonichi Techo Weeks comes with a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

The pages are made of thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper that holds ink well, providing a smooth writing experience.

In addition to the monthly calendars and weekly pages, there are also plenty of grid-lined memo pages.

The back of the book contains bonus pages. Both the Japanese and English editions feature standard favourites like My 100 and the 365 Days Check-Off Sheet, as well as new additions like Phrases to Break That Writer's Block and the Hobonichi's Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Map, among others.

If you'd like to customise the look of your Weeks or add space to store accessories, you can pair it with a Weeks cover.

Yoshie Watanabe creates work with a unique worldview, including fashion designs for CACUMA, a brand she launched with Hobonichi, as well as package designs for AUDREY, G Butters', and CARAMEL MONDAY. She works on art direction, product design, and spatial direction, and is active across a wide range of fields as part of the creative unit KIGI. She has published many works, including BROOCH (published by Little More).

Small Details, Big Difference

  • Flowers made of thread: The little blooms are woven into the cloth rather than printed, so you can feel the raised weave under a fingertip and no two covers land quite the same.
  • Midnight navy with a red seam: The ground is a dense, deep-sea navy, and a single red line runs across front and back like a well-placed pin.
  • Quietly finished: Black foil marks 2027 and the artist's signature, and every week opens flat and horizontal with blank graph paper opposite.
