Description

The Takeo Dressco Paper Notebook L dresses a simple idea in beautiful colour. Its cover is a single sheet of Takeo's own fine paper — thin, deceptively strong, and chosen for the way its shade and grain sit in the hand. Inside are 96 pages of quality bank paper, stitch-bound so the book opens flat on a desk and takes a fountain pen or a favourite pencil without complaint.

The covers come in two papers — a smooth bank stock and a laid Spica bond with a faint ribbed grain — so every colour carries its own character. At 128 by 214 millimetres and just 7 millimetres thick, it slips into a bag and is made to be carried, written in and finished, rather than saved for an occasion that never quite arrives.

Why You'll Love It

  • It lies flat from page one: You write straight across the spine without pressing or propping, so the whole page is usable from the very first entry.
  • It travels light: You drop it into a bag and forget it's there, the thin cover taking the knocks while the pages stay clean.
  • A colour you keep reaching for: You pick a shade that suits you and use it daily, the cover only softening handsomely with time.
