Description

The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colours across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series takes those colours into simple designs, and the Translucent Sticky Notes (Tiles) are part of that lineup.

These are square sticky notes that look just like tiles. They come in a set of 12 colours and are designed to fit the grid of the Hobonichi Techo Original’s monthly calendar pages. They can also be used with the Cousin and Weeks.

You can use them for managing plans, marking spots or colour-coding. One especially handy use is writing down tentative plans and sticking them in place. If your schedule changes, all you have to do is reposition the sticky note.

The backing sheet folds into thirds, so you can slip the pad straight into your techo cover pocket and carry it with you.

Each set comes with 15 sticky notes of each colour, so you can use them freely across all kinds of pages.

Oil-based ink and pencil are recommended; gel ink and water-based ink may take longer to dry.

Tools for Big Thinking

  • Plans you can move: Write a tentative meeting on a tile and stick it to the day. When it shifts, and it always shifts, you peel it off and reposition it rather than scribbling a hole in the page.
  • Cut to the monthly grid: Each square is sized for the boxes on the Original’s monthly calendar, so a note sits neatly inside its date instead of sprawling across the neighbours.
  • Translucent, and 180 of them: The film is smooth, faintly glassy and see-through, so the printed date never disappears underneath — and with 12 colours at 15 sheets each you will not run short before December.
