Description

Deco Rush - Little My Strolls Along is a decorative tape runner featuring illustrations from Moomin, the beloved series created in 1945 by Finnish author, painter and artist Tove Jansson.

This decorative tape lets you decorate your techo easily and cutely by simply sticking the tip to the surface you want to put the pattern on and pulling it like correction tape. You can use it to accent where you have written plans for the day, or draw a line with it to make a section of the page stand out.

Little My Strolls Along is filled with Little My in various poses and expressions. Designed to be used vertically, it is ideal for adding playful accents to your techo pages.

The tape roll is 10 mm wide. Because Deco Rush is a tape, it does not have the unevenness of ink and does not show through the other side of the page. It has almost no thickness to it, so your book will not grow fat from using it. A special eraser designed to remove tape applied by mistake is sold separately.

The Deco Rush tape works best when applied to smooth surfaces. The key is to hold it almost perpendicular to the paper and make sure the roller at the tip is in close contact with the paper. When you have finished applying it, stop firmly and release it upwards to make a clean cut.

The compact size of this tape dispenser allows it to fit into a pen case, so you can easily carry it everywhere with your techo. It offers a great way to enjoy decorating your techo on a daily basis.

Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was a Finnish-Swedish writer and artist, who achieved worldwide fame as the creator of the stories about the Moomins, written and illustrated between 1945 and 1977. The Moomin family and their friends live an adventurous life in the idyllic and peaceful Moominvalley in harmony with nature. They are a family of white and roundish trolls with large snouts.

Small Details, Big Difference

  • Little My, all the way down: The design is drawn to be pulled vertically, so you get a column of Little My in a dozen different moods running beside a list or down the edge of a daily page.
  • Tape, not ink: There is no pooling, no streaking and nothing showing through to the far side of the sheet, and the roll adds so little thickness that your techo shuts exactly as it always did.
  • Flat and glossy under the finger: Press, pull, stop and lift straight up for a clean cut; the finished strip lies flush enough to write over without feeling a single ridge.
