Notebooks & Paper

Whether you’re a page-by-page planner, a spontaneous scribbler, or a doodler with grand designs, our Notebooks & Paper collection caters to every kind of creative flutter. It’s not just notebooks—though there are plenty—it’s also the paper that goes with them: loose sheets, pads, refills and the occasional delightful oddity.

Think of it as a library of blank beginnings. Lined, grid, dot, plain or gorgeously textured—each piece invites you to write, sketch, plot, or dream. Prefer to tear and share? We’ve got perforation. Need paper that doesn’t ghost? No smudging here.

From perfectly bound companions to stackable stashes of beautiful paper, it’s all here—ready for ink, pencil or an ambitious mind.

Notebook & Paper FAQs

Have questions about notebooks & paper? See our answers below on choosing the right format, paper weight, fountain-pen compatibility, refill options and more.

What paper weight is best for fountain pens?

Look for at least 90 gsm (grams per square metre). That weight minimises show-through and bleed-through while still feeling smooth under your nib. Premium brands like Leuchtturm1917 and Rhodia start around 100 gsm, so they’re ideal if you use wet-flowing fountain inks.

How do I avoid bleed-through and feathering?

Choose heavier paper (90 gsm+). There are exceptions to this rule, such as Tomoe River paper, which is thin but very fountain pen friendly.

Use a finer nib (EF or F) if you have a wetter pen.

Try ink-friendly brands (Rhodia, Apica, Kokuyo) whose sizing coatings keep ink on the surface. We have a whole category for FP friendly notebooks.

What’s the difference between dot-grid, grid and ruled notebooks?

Dot-grid: A series of faint dots—perfect for bullet journals, sketching grids, or free-form layouts.

Grid: Full squared lines—great for technical drawing, diagrams or math.

Ruled: Horizontal lines—ideal for straight, uniform handwriting like journaling or note-taking. Pick the format that best matches your use case.
