Kokuyo Enpitsu Sharp Mechanical Pencil

By Kokuyo
$6.00 $7.00

So what's an 'Enpitsu Sharp' anyway?

Enpitsu means pencil in Japanese and sharp, well that's self explanatory. This is an incredibly precise and sharp 'enpitsu'; it's available in three lead types as well, so if you enjoy drafting or writing using a very fine tip, then the 0.3mm is ideal.

The body of the pencil is hexagonal and has a quite weighty feel to it, which makes it all the more like holding a wooden pencil. It's like having the writing comfort of a traditional pencil with all the convenience of a mechanical, refillable pencil (or enpitsu) instead.

This pencil has a clean minimal design, with no clips, caps or eraser tips and best of all, it's refilled by inserting a lead into the top of the pencil and letting it drop into the chamber, securely. There's no chance of a refill falling out, even when the pencil is turned upside down! To remove the refill, simply unscrew the pencil tip (or nose) and shake the refill out.

When you're ready to put the pencil away, the nib completely retracts so you can safely store it without it scratching anything in your pencil case or pocket.
