We're very happy to introduce an awesome -- Calepino. Created in 2011 by Fabrice Richard, Calepino is a family-owned brand all the way from Nantes in Western France. The cover, first and last pages are all letterpress printed. Made from 100% recycled paper with real eco-friendly credentials: the covers and case are both 100% recycled and the ink used is vegetable-based.
The cardboard covered notebook was caked in sawdust, from being placed so regularly between the wood plane and the discarded chips. It would to and from between the tools and the my father's workbench, which was in the basement. With his big red pencil, he would draw, trace and plan out his designs, then slide the pad in to the back pocket of his overalls.
