One of the absolute best things about writing is the sheer variety of beautiful (and affordable) inks available. This brings a whole new element to writing as you can choose a colour that suits you - and every colour brings with it little surprises, little nuances such as variations in shading and tone when used with different papers. Besides, is there anything more lovely than the glisten of little squiggles of wet ink on paper?
