Hobonichi 2025 Weeks English Edition [Leather: Pomegranate]

£52.00

This leather Weeks book features durable and comfortable cow leather for the attached cover. The shiny satin bookmark ribbons and headband on the book spine establish a slightly more elaborate construction than usual.

In Pomegranate, we use leather dyed deep red as the pomegranate fruit. The dull and subdued color gives it a mature look. The year 2025 is foil-pressed in gold and sparkles when it catches the light.

The top and bottom of the book spine contain headbands to reinforce the binding and decoration. We chose red and white headbands for this design.

The bookmarks are made of deep red and dark brown satin ribbons with a nice sheen for a sophisticated color scheme.

The leather Weeks book comes in a specially-designed envelope to prevent sun damage.

When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. This paper that underwent an overhaul with the 2024 edition techo is more resistant to bleed through, lighter despite being the same thickness, and has a smoother surface by adjusting the fibers of the paper.

The Weeks book has space for writing in plans or journal entries, and it also has 69 pages of grid paper memo pages in the back (73 pages in the English edition). The back of the book contains bonus pages, including Sample Symbols and Icons and Oodles of Noodles.

*The Hobonichi Techo 2025 Weeks book is available in English with the January-start version, only.

If you’d like storage space or a way to change up the look of your Weeks book, you can customize your book by pairing it with a Weeks cover.

The unique nature of leather covers
The Hobonichi Techo leather covers are made with all-natural materials that have their own unique appearance. Every leather cover is a one-of-a-kind, all-natural product, so you can feel good knowing your cover is the only one like it in the world. Here are some of the unique characteristics you can expect to find:

1. Markings that naturally occur during an animal’s life including wrinkles, veins, texture, and scratches as seen below

2. Characteristics from the manufacturing process of natural leather including dark spots (occurs when components of the leather are exposed to iron in the air during the tanning and dyeing process) as seen below

1. Test fountain pens before regular use
The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

2. Leather may contain preexisting wrinkles and marks
In order to allow customers the enjoyment of all-natural leather, the leather is processed in a way that retains its original feel. This may leave imperfections visible on the surface of the cover, such as wrinkles, scratches, stains, or vein marks.

Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.

3. Cover corners are slightly bumpy and shiny
The corners of the cover contain light traces of press marks, shines, and lumps. This is an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process.

4. Colouring may stain other objects
The dye in the cover may stain other objects if it rubs against or sticks to them, especially if the cover is wet from water or sweat from your hands. Please store with care.

5. Imprinted year numbers may peel
The numbers of the year are stamped onto the cover in metallic or other colored leaf, so strong rubbing or everyday use may cause the numbers to peel off.

6. Avoid using with Clear Cover
This cover uses thicker materials than usual, so it may not fit. Forcing it into a Clear Cover may damage the product.

7. Avoid storing in hot and humid places
Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.

8. Dark spots or spotted areas may be visible
During the leather drying process, particles floating in the air may adhere to the surface. Please understand this is an unavoidable part of the production process.
