Hobonichi 2023 A6 Original Planner Set [Minä Perhonen: Hello Swallow]

£124.99

The A6 Planner Set includes the Hobonichi A6 size Original Techo book and a cover (A6 book measures 10.5cm x 14.8 cm). This cover has a refreshing look with the print of swallows gliding through the sky. The faint, hand-drawn touch of the original  art is reproduced in fine detail. Minä Perhonen is a fashion brand and is the brainchild of designer and founder Akira Minagawa. Founded in 1995, he wrote of his vision " a brand that will last at least a hundred years” and so his idea was born. The brand name “minä” means “I,” and “perhonen” means “butterfly.”

What is the Original Techo Book?

The A6 Original Techo book is the standard type of Hobonichi Techo with daily pages, measuring 10.5cm x 14.8cm. We recommend this book if you want to really personalise the use of your planner and keep records of your everyday life, manage schedules and
so on.

Changes to the Original Techo Book in 2023

In the 2023 planners, the 'remember this' page at the beginning of each month will now feature a short but detailed snippet of information about various topics, including foods that are in season and season-specific events for modern-day life and so on.

The bonus pages have also been re-worked and improved to include new sections such as 'My Favourite Things', a guide on 'How to better enjoy conversations' and a '365 days checklist' which features a bubble that you can fill in for each day of the year.

Specifics of the A6 Cover

  1. Butterfly-stopper
This is the name for the pen holders that are on either side of the cover. By closing the techo cover and putting a pen through both pen holders, it acts as a hinge and holds the cover shut, preventing the pages from crumpling.

  2. Various pockets
The Hobonichi Techo cover comes with lots of pockets both on the inside and outside. There are various shapes and sizes, from those in which you can store small cards to those that can fit larger postcards.

  3. Two bookmarks
The covers come with two bookmarks with triangular and rectangular charms on the ends (the shape of the charms may differ depending on the cover). It’s useful to use each bookmark to mark different pages, for example using one for the monthly calendar and one for the daily pages.
