The Journal Shop will never, ever, disclose your information to third parties. It's as simple as that. We wouldn't want it done to us and we wouldn't even think about doing it to you.
We operate a newsletter. We use this to let you know about new stuff, competitions and other news from the world of TJS. You can opt in and opt out whenever you like. No pressure. We think it's pretty cool though.
We accept credit and debit card payment, which will be safely and securely processed by our payment processor on our behalf. This means that even we don't get to see your credit card details.
Once the transaction is completed, we are able to make refunds to your payment using the payment reference number (again, no card details), but because we don't have your card details we can't add items or further charges to your order.
If we take your credit card details when you place an order by telephone, we will not store your credit card details.
Actually, a cookie is a delicious small file which allows web applications (including this site) to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. Some come with chocolate chips.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
But come on, really, you knew all of this already didn't you? Except the chocolate chips. We lied about the chocolate chips.
