The notebook is absolute perfection, a joy to write and draw in. I just wish The Journal Shop would package orders better. It arrived in a sad looking Jiffy bag. My items have been bashed about and damaged on arrival. (Posted on 17/05/2018)

Midori is on of the best brands from notebooks when it comes to japanese paper quality at a great price! Brought the covers also, the leather and the plastic clear one and i love that i can decorated the covers and change it whenever i want! super easy! (Posted on 27/11/2016)

Great Quality Paper

Great quality paper suitable for making notes with your favourite fountain pen. The Midori MD A5 Notebook comes nicely packaged although I would recommend that you get a hold of the clear plastic cover to protect the Notebook. It opens flat and depending upon what fountain pen / ink combo that you use, should not bleed through - at least I've had no issues with various Diamine inks.

Yes it is expensive for what it is, but the paper quality is much better than the standard European brands - Rhoda & Leuchtturm. Will be purchasing another Midori MD Notebook once I fill this one up (also available in A4 & A7 sizes). (Posted on 20/03/2016)

Wonderful paper notebook for fountain pen writing. Simple design and opens flat - easily better quality than the French & German equivalents. Like other reviewers have mentioned, purchase the clear plastic cover to protect your Midori MD Cotton Notebook. Highly recommended. (Posted on 12/03/2016)

A Wonderful Midori Offering

I am a total fan of the Midori Diary paper products and this release of the "Cotton" journal is a delight. It offers an alternative to the cream/ivory color journals with the same high quality and attention to detail of their other products. I write exclusively with fountain pens and it is a silky smooth surface with the added advantage that the white paper makes the ink colors and shading pop. My hope is that this will remain in their product line up. At this time, this journal is not available in the US and I am grateful that The Journal Shop carries such an extensive line. Order processing and international shipping was fast and professional. I highly recommend both this product and the company! (Posted on 01/11/2013)
