3 Notebooks, 3 Thinkers
The history of philosophy is filled with some fascinating 'schools of thought' dedicated to tackling life's big problems in distinctive ways. We've created this exquisite set of notebooks in honour of The Existentialists.
Each notebook carries an introduction to a great Existentialist thinker on the inside front page, their name beautifully printed on the cover - and otherwise empty pages for your own projects.
A set of three paper-bound notebooks | 125 x 178mm with yellow contrast stitch | plain, grid and lined paper (one of each) | 64pp
Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Sartre
The Existentialists invented the word ‘angst’ and have much to say about the troubles and aspirations of the modern soul. Their starting point is that traditional societies used to tell you how to live but that nowadays, we have to make it all up for ourselves. This is both exhilarating and a terrible burden. The Existentialists talk a lot about freedom and anxiety. They are especially concerned with how we can cope with the pressure to make the right choice in our careers and in our romantic lives, and help us to be compassionate observers of ourselves.
