Hobonichi 2023 A5 Cousin Set [Brownie Plaid]

The A5 Cousin Set includes the Hobonichi A5 Cousin Book in English* and a cover. This cover fits an A5 size Hobonichi Techo book. Made primarily of polyester, with a 'butterfly stopper' that uses a pen to hold the cover shut. This basic plaid design is provides the Techo cover with a playful feel.The base of the design is a calming colour scheme of brown, black, and white. Added to that is a pop of red and blue thin lines. This comfortably soft, woven fabric is designed for button-up shirts for year-round use. This makes it perfect for a techo cover you carry with you every day. The supple fabric gives it a smooth and pleasant feel.

What is the Cousin Book?

The A5 size Cousin with daily pages is the largest techo book in our lineup. We recommend it to anyone who wants to write and use stickers. The weekly calendar that is unique to the Cousin book allows you to manage your week’s schedule on a two-page spread and is popular among users.

New English Version
Over the years, Hobonichi Techo users have requested an English version of the Cousin book. We are excited to announce the English Edition Cousin joining the 2023 lineup. The inside of this techo book with daily pages takes on the design of the Japanese Cousin book, such as using different colours for each month and the size of the grid. The English edition also features the weekly diary that is useful to manage your weeks’ schedule on a two-page spread.

The yearly and monthly calendars, daily quotes, and the bonus pages at the back of the book are all written in English. Because it is anticipated that this techo will be used by many people around the world, these books do not contain labels for holidays.

Specifics of the A5 Cover

1. Butterfly-stopper
   This is the name for the pen holders that are on either side of the cover. By closing the techo cover and putting a pen through both pen holders, it acts as a hinge and holds the cover shut, preventing the pages from crumpling.

2. Various pockets
   The Hobonichi Techo cover comes with lots of pockets both on the inside and outside. There are various shapes and sizes, from those in which you can store small cards to those that can fit larger postcards.
   
   
3. Two bookmarks
   The covers come with two bookmarks with triangular and rectangular charms on the ends (the shape of the charms may differ depending on the cover). It’s useful to use each bookmark to mark different pages, for example using one for the monthly calendar and one for the daily pages.
